The VII World Congress of Mathematicians of the Turkic World is taking place

The VII World Congress of Mathematicians of the Turkic World has started its work in the spiritual capital of the Turkic world — Turkestan. The Congress brought together more than 400 mathematicians from 20 countries. Representatives of the Ministry and rectors of universities also gathered at the event.

The delegation of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University was headed by the Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Karimova. The delegation includes mathematicians and volunteer students.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter to the opening ceremony of the World Congress and wished success to the work of the scientific forum.At the meeting, Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, Rector of the K.A.Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University Zhanar Temirbekova wished the participants good luck in the work of the congress. Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, Rector of K.A.Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University Zhanar Temirbekova also sent his best wishes to the participants.

President of TWMS Bakytzhan Zhumagulov made a report on "Modern mathematics and its application". Academicians, professors from abroad (Turkey, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, etc.) acquainted scientists with research works on fundamental areas of mathematics–functional analysis, numerical methods and the theory of solving inverse and ill-posed problems.

In addition, it is expected that at the congress, which received more than 500 abstracts, topical issues in the field of mathematics will be raised in 10 sections and new ideas will be discussed.
