The Green Department Project        

A delegation headed by Veronika Radygina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University, paid a working visit to the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The members of the delegation got acquainted with the projects of our scientists at the Institute of Natural Sciences and met with teaching professors.

At the meeting, the processor of the ЕP "Biology, Geography and Chemistry", PhD, Rakhat Kurmanbayev familiarized with the goals and objectives of the project "Green Department".

The Green Department project is based on the preservation of the environment, the formation and development of literacy and culture by introducing the content of environmental education into the educational process.

For the guests from Belarus, the teachers of the ЕP "Biology, Geography and Chemistry" gave lectures on topical topics and familiarized with the educational processes of the university.

Professor of the ЕP "Biology, Geography and Chemistry", Ph.D. Gulmira Abyzbekova familiarized with the work of the scientific and educational center named after T. D. Kuanyshbayev and told about the relevance of the projects currently being implemented.

A lecture on the topic "Assessment of the fertility of irrigated saline soils by the method of ecological and geographical monitoring of the Aral Sea region" was given by Professor of the ЕP "Biology, Geography and Chemistry", Doctor of Biological Sciences Saltanat Ibadullayeva, Ph.D. Raikhan Zhandauletova gave a lecture on "Age-related psychophysiology".

The members of the delegation also noted that in the future, within the framework of the bilateral memorandum of cooperation, joint projects on the topic "Environmental education and sustainable development: innovative experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan" will be implemented.

At the end of the visit, the members of the delegation from Belarus noted the usefulness of the visit for the education of the two countries and expressed their intention to further strengthen cooperation.
