Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University Photo Gallery Museum

The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University Photo Gallery Museum was opened on November 17, 1997 in honor of the 60th anniversary of our university. The museum has 57 expositions with various documentary materials and photographs, photo booths and diagrams.

In the history of the formation of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, we are proud to name famous people whose names have taken their place in the country's higher education. One special section of the photo gallery is dedicated to the persons who led the university, contributed to its development and formation.

In the historical period from 1937 to the present day, the Rector of the university are well-known scientists, teachers, business organizers.

Exhibition Hall of the Research Center of Archeology and Ethnography

The exhibition hall of the Research Center "Archeology and Ethnography" was opened on December 7, 2011.

In the exhibition hall there are special thematic stands prepared in connection with the history of the study of archaeological and historical-cultural monuments of the Syr region, archaeological cultures and artifacts found as a result of archaeological excavations.

Museum of Water Management named after Honored Hydraulic Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madelkhan Nalibayev

The grand opening of the Museum of Water Management named after Honored Hydraulic Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madelkhan Nalibayev took place on April 22, 2022 at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The museum presents the history of the development of irrigation systems of ancient settlements of the Syr region from their inception to the present day. It illustrates the life and work of hydraulic engineers, their research and maps, the construction of a stone dam and waterworks, the growth of the water industry.

Museum of Sports Glory

With the support of the Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Academician Kylyshbay Aldabergenovich Bisenov, on January 15, 2018, the "Museum of Sports Glory" was opened for the younger generation in order to promote outstanding athletes from the university who glorified the Kazakh name in the world.

This museum occupies a special place in the history of the university, the region. The museum presents photographs of famous athletes, diplomas, cups, souvenirs, sports items used in sports. In addition, the life, portrait of the founder of the Department of "Physical Culture and initial military training", Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor N.I.Shindin, photographs, services of graduates holding senior positions in different regions of the country and contributing to the development of the field of physical culture and sports, scientific works of Professor Zh. Egizbayuly. The museum is annually replenished with the achievements of athletes and graduates.

Zoological Museum

In the course of training specialists, strengthening the material base of the department in 2000, on the initiative of the head of the Department "Biology, Geography and Ecology", Candidate of Biological Sciences, Professor Torehan Kemelevna, the museum "Zoological Museum" was organized.

A special place is occupied by associate Professor O. S. Tapalov, who made a great contribution to the replenishment of the Zoological Museum of the department.

Among the exhibits of the museum are a seal, a deer, a wolf, a raccoon dog, a wild boar, a waterfowl and a forest grove dating back to 1937.

There are 215 exhibits in total. Of these: mammals – 30, fish – 14, birds – 44, reptiles – 12, oceanic and marine animals (invertebrates) – 15, parasites – 8, entomological collections of insects - 50. Animal skeletons and anatomical internal structures are supplemented with these wet preparations.
