Form of study The duration of study is determined by the acquisition of 240 academic credits over the entire period of study and 60 academic credits per academic year. Accordingly, the duration of study is 4 years. If the duration of study is increased or decreased, the student is permitted to earn more or fewer academic credits within one academic year. For individuals with higher, technical and vocational, or post-secondary education, the duration of study is established considering the student's prior preparation, as determined by their transcript (diploma supplement). In this case, credits are recalculated, and previously acquired disciplines are taken into account, provided they are sufficient and align with the continuity of the educational program
