Conservation of biological diversity is one of the urgent problems of our time. Human activity aimed at increasing the area of crops in Central Asia has resulted in the complete regulation of the Syrdarya and Amudarya rivers flowing into the Aral Sea. The environmental project RRSSAM (Regulation of the Syrdarya Riverbed and the Northern Aral Sea) was developed with the aim of restoring the Northern Aral Sea (SAM) and the lake system of the Syrdarya River Delta, in order to preserve the biological diversity of ecological systems. Currently, the ecosystem of the Kazakh part of the Aral Sea and the Syrdarya River delta is undergoing regeneration with the restoration processes of coastal biocenoses. A unique experiment on the regenerative succession of individual lakes of the Aral Sea system has been launched. Under these conditions, the task is to assess the prospects for the restoration process and the direction of changes, which will allow planning measures aimed at preserving the unique water complex. The problem is urgent and requires a detailed study, a description of all the stages of restoration of the entire natural complex of the Aral Sea region. The formation of ornithocenosis is an important indicator of the formation of a biocenosis, an indicator of the presence of stable ecological links with a given territory. The avifauna of the Aral Sea has been the object of numerous expeditions and research work for a long time. Studies of the species composition, distribution and abundance of avifauna in the Aral Sea region, due to the conservation of some water bodies and the restoration of biodiversity, do not lose their relevance.
