Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan met with Kyzylorda students

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Didier Canesse visited Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.

As part of the campaign "16 days of active action against gender-based violence", they took part in the case championship among urban universities, which was held at the university, and awarded diplomas to the winners.

On November 25, in honor of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and December 10, International Human Rights Day, the United Nations Development Program conducts an annual international campaign.

Didier Canesse stressed the importance of this measure and noted that improving people's legal literacy is very important.

The Case Championship was attended by 8 teams of students from 3 universities in the region, who presented their research and recommendations on the prevention of gender-based violence.

Also, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Didier Canesse met with Acting Chairman of the Board – Rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Zhandos Bazartai, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations Mainur Buribayeva and discussed issues of strengthening mutual partnership
