A scientific and educational conference was held on the occasion of Independence Day

The Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University hosted a scientific and educational conference "Tauelsizdik barinen kymbat", dedicated to December 16 - Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The conference was attended by the teaching staff and students.

Significant events in the country's history and achievements achieved so far were widely covered at the conference.

"Independence is a great gift of the epoch and time, the eternal value of our people.

The independence of our country is a victory for the high spirit of our nation, which has long longed for freedom and the struggle for freedom throughout the history of the nation," said the Chairman of the Board, Rector of the University Beibitkul Karimova.

The meeting was attended by Associate professor of the educational program "History and Archaeology" of the University, Doctor of Historical Sciences Tastanbek Satbai, associate professor of the educational program "Kazakh language and Literature and Journalism", Candidate of Philology, witness to the December Events Gulmira Bayalieva, senior lecturer of the educational program "Kazakh language and Literature and Journalism", Master of Philology Serikhan Zhuzeev.

During the conference, the winners of the essay contest "Tauelsiz elim – Kazakhstan", organized by the primary party organization "Turan" of the AMANAT party, dedicated to December 16 – Independence Day, were awarded.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, 15 students of our university won prizes at the II stage of the republican competition of students' research works on 10 educational programs. During the gathering, the winning students were awarded diplomas.

Also, the scientists who became winners of the competition of scientific research of young scientists, held within the framework of the grant of the Chairman-Rector of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University, were awarded a grant certificate in the amount of 1,250,000 tenge.
