From June 2-6, 2024, an international seminar on water supply, sanitation and hygiene in Central Asia was held in the city of Fergana, Republic of Uzbekistan. Representatives of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland attended the seminar.

Gulnur Turekhanovna Daldabayeva, senior lecturer of the educational program "Water Resources and Land Management", PhD, took part from behalf of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Gulnur Turekhanovna is a member of COP4WASH Association of Practitioners and Researchers of Central Asia.

The scientists who came to share their experience and discuss the progress of COP4WASH project did not forget to discuss the results and experience of the development and implementation of university laboratories. Also at the meeting of the seminar, issues of research work on the project, teaching certain topics and developing research methods were raised. The researchers, united in the common interests of Central Asia, made the creation of a work plan for the future activities of COP4WASH research community the main goal of the meeting.
