ORLEU PROGRAM – 2024

The Scientific Education Foundation named after Academician Shakhmardan Yessenov announces a competition for 10 grants for applicants from low-income families who have not received a state or other grant to pay for a higher (Bachelor's degree) educational institution.

The competition is open only to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from low-income families with good academic performance (the certificate should not contain grades below 4 (four) on a five-point scale or analogues on the letter, percentage system) or a GPA not lower than 2.67 for further study in Kazakhstani universities (Bachelor's degrees).

To participate in the competition of the program "ÓRLEÝ", it is necessary to submit an online application from May 22 to July 22, 2024, through the website of the foundation yessenovfoundation.org.

* Applications will be accepted till July 22, 2024 at 15:00 Astana time (UTC+5).

The following documents must be attached to the application:

Mandatory documents for parents and (or) legal representatives of the grant applicant:

1. scanned copy of identity card;

2. pension certificate: by age, disability (if any);

3. Certificate of benefits: for the loss of a breadwinner, unemployment, TSA and other justifications in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (if any);
4. certificate of the presence or absence of an object of entrepreneurship;

5. extract from the legal representative and (or) parents of the grant applicant on pension contributions at the date of application submission;

6. information about the presence/absence of housing, a car, a supplementary household, etc.

Mandatory documents for a grant applicant:

1. scanned copy of identity card;

2. motivation letter containing the following (no more than 750 words):

a. information about yourself and your family, how many people live in the family;

b. about interests and hobbies;

c. about achievements;

d. information on the reasons for the need to provide financial assistance to pay for training;

e. The reason for choosing this particular profession for education;

f. about plans for the next 10 years.

3. Certificate/Diploma of completion of high school / college (applications of applicants with grades below "good" and "excellent" are not considered), certificate of passing the UNT (for admission to the university), transcript for university students;

4. certificate of disability (if any);

5.Certificate of a resident of an orphanage or youth home.

Additional documents:

1. certificates and diplomas for academic achievements – no more than 2 copies *;

2. certificates and diplomas for other achievements (sports, creativity, etc.) – no more than 2 copies*;

3.Photo for the last three years: family photo with all family members or most of them (in the last three years) – 2 pcs.
