A meeting was held with foreign kandas students

A meeting with kandas students from abroad was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.

A number of issues related to the kandas students were discussed at the meeting. The rights and obligations of foreign kandas students, registration upon arrival in Kazakhstan, visa application, migration legislation and conditions were informed.

Students from abroad may have psychological difficulties in the process of adaptation. In order to solve this problem, the university recommends providing psychological assistance, conducting adaptation groups and trainings.

During the meeting, information was provided on the access of international students to medical services, the importance of health insurance and what rights and responsibilities they have in the field of healthcare. In addition, in order to promote cultural and social adaptation, special events will be organized at the university, various trainings and public events will be held to develop intercultural communication.

The meeting was attended by Vice-rector for Social and Educational Work Zhandos Bazartai, Deputy Head of the Migration Service Department, Police Colonel Sagyndyk Uvaydullayevich and Inspector of the Department of External Migration of the Migration Service Department, police Captain Gabit Amitovich and chief methodologist of the Department of Social and Educational Work Altynai Mustafayeva, head of the Psychological Support Center Imanalieva Kuralai, specialist of the medical center Gulnar Esmakhanova and Zhanibek Kalmaganbet, specialist of the International Relations Department.

The meeting is aimed at improving the quality of education for students from abroad, facilitating the process of adaptation in Kazakhstan and ensuring legal security.
