The course "Financial literacy" was conducted for the teaching staff

From February 3 to March 5, the teaching staff of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University completed a 72-hour course on Financial Literacy.

At the end of the course, the Head of the Center for Advanced Training and Additional Education Nurkhan Abdykalikov presented the certificates to the participants.

It should be noted that last year, on the basis of 19 universities, 19 trainers of the teaching staff held training seminars on financial literacy for 155 teachers. In addition, 1 coach and 2 professors improved their knowledge of financial literacy. Currently, this subject is taught by PhD in Economics Aigul Makenova, senior lecturers Murat Smailov and Nurgul Kusayeva under the educational program "Finance, Accounting and Audit".

In the Message of the Head of State, it was proposed to teach the subject of financial literacy. In order to achieve this goal, from the 2024-2025 academic year, the discipline "Fundamentals of Financial Literacy" is studied by the 1st year students of 11 educational programs.
