Talshyn Kydyrbayeva – silver medalist in Kazakh kuresi

Talshyn Kydyrbayeva, a student of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, won a silver medal in kazakh kuresi at the XIII Summer Universiade Games, earning a well-deserved honorary recognition to the university.

This year, more than 4,000 students from 76 universities across the country are taking part in the large-scale sports event, which is held annually as a tradition. Demonstrating high-level athletic skill and determination, Talshyn skillfully applied the subtle and complex techniques of traditional Kazakh wrestling.

The Universiade is not only a competition, but also an important platform aimed at developing mass sports among youth, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and enhancing mutual cooperation among students.
