Media Representatives Honored on Journalists' Day

On June 28, a meeting dedicated to the professional holiday of media workers was held at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

During the event, Beibitkul Karimova, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the University, congratulated representatives of the media sector on their holiday, emphasizing their vital role in society and their significant contribution to the university’s development.

“Thank you for your dedicated work, which fosters authenticity and trust in the information space. Your efforts in promoting the activities and achievements of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and in keeping the public well-informed are truly appreciated,” the rector said in her address.

At the meeting, several journalists who provided media support during the recent official visit of the delegation led by Professor Dong Hwang Kim, President of Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), were presented with letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Among the awardees are Adilbek Zhakanov, correspondent of the national channel "Kazakhstan" in the Kyzylorda region; Nurlybek Nurmakhanov, cameraman; Raykhan Tazhibayeva, correspondent of Khabar Agency JSC in the Kyzylorda region; Nurlan Zhakypbekov and cameraman Nurzhan Muzarapshin; Guliy Ashekova, editor of the "Qyzylorda" TV channel; Aruzhan Beysenbayeva, editor of the "Qogam TV" broadcasting company; and videographer Ruslan Zhusupbekov.

This is a vivid example of the partnership based on mutual trust between the university and the media.
