Students Get Acquainted with the National Costume of the Korean People

At Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, students of Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) met with newly admitted university students. The meeting aimed to establish friendly relations between foreign and local students and to strengthen mutual cultural exchange.

During the event, the guests introduced their country’s culture and explained the features of the Korean national costume — the hanbok. The hanbok is not only a beautiful garment but also a cultural symbol that reflects the spiritual essence and national identity of the Korean people.

Students were shown how to properly wear the hanbok and were given interesting information about its meaning. Participants tried on colorful hanboks and had the opportunity to experience Korean culture more closely. At the end of the gathering, the students took commemorative photos and left with wonderful impressions in a joyful atmosphere.

This event contributed to bringing cultures closer together, enhancing mutual understanding and respect between students and foreign guests.
