Қорқыт ата университеті V Халықаралық эндаументтер форумына қатысты

The V International Endowment Forum (a portion of a non-profit organization's assets formed through donations) was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, dedicated to the theme «Endowments and Sustainable Development: Investing in the Future».

This year's forum set a record for the number of participants and the geographical diversity of speakers, bringing together experts from various countries such as the USA, Russia, China, and Turkey, as well as endowment funds from local universities.

The main goal of the forum is to foster a culture of trust and partnership between university graduates and the business community, which is considered to be a strong foundation for the sustainable development of higher education.

During the meeting, global trends in the development of endowment funds, as well as the experience of establishing and effectively managing university endowments, were widely discussed. Practical masterclasses were also organized, and ways to enhance the financial sustainability of educational organizations were explored.

It should be noted that the adoption of the law «On Endowments» in the country is a significant achievement in this direction. This initiative was first raised at the inaugural meeting of this forum.

As part of the forum, Marzhan Bazarhanova, Director of the «Korkyt Ata Endowment» Corporate Fund, was awarded a special prize by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, for her contribution to the development of endowment funds.
