The «Zhaukazyn» students’ theater staged the play «The Eternal Image of a Child»

The repertoire of the «Zhaukazyn» student theater of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda university has been enriched with a new production. This time, the talented youth presented a work by the renowned playwright Roza Mukanova named «The Eternal Image of a Child» on stage.

The production, presented to the audience, reflects one of the most difficult and tragic pages of the 20th century – the national tragedy caused by the consequences of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site. Through the fate of the main character, Leila, the spiritual wounds of the Kazakh people, the tears of mothers, and the flame of hope for the future are depicted.

The acting skills and stage culture of the students were highly praised by the audience. The touching moments and deep reflections presented during the performance did not leave the young artists indifferent.

The head of «Zhaukazyn» student theater noted that the main goal of the production is to increase the youth's interest in national spiritual values and, through art, to promote following qualities, such as humanity and compassion.

At the end of the evening, the audience expressed their gratitude to the young actors and bid them farewell with ovation.
