Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda university enters the TOP-593 of the QS Asia University Rankings 2026

The results of one of Asia's most prestigious rankings, the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, have been published. This year, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University has secured a position in the TOP-593 among all Asian universities.

This year's ranking includes 1538 universities from 25 countries, marking the most extensive expansion in the ranking's history, with 597 new added higher education institutions, compared to last year. Among the countries with the largest number of universities represented in the ranking are: China, India, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pakistan, Iran and others. Among Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan has taken a leading position in terms of represented universities’ number. Our university demonstrated high achievements in the following key indicators: the proportion of international faculty, the proportion of international students and the faculty-to-student ratio.

Moving forward, the works in the following areas will be continued in order to maintain and improve our position: academic reputation, employer reputation, the proportion of staff with doctoral degrees and citations per faculty. 

This result is a clear testament to the integrity, professionalism and collaboration in achieving the University's strategic goals.
