The «Vivacity and Health – 2026» Olympics has come to an end

The closing ceremony of the traditional «Vivacity and Health – 2026» Olympics, dedicated to its 50th anniversary, took place at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. This year, the sports competition, organized among the university's faculty and staff, held special significance.

At the award ceremony for the tournament winners, Murat Aitimov, the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Information Technologies, delivered a welcoming speech. He congratulated the participants on their well-deserved victories and highlighted their active promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

Six teams participated in the competition, vying in eight sports. The participants showcased their skills in chess, table tennis, tug-of-war, swimming, volleyball, toguz kumalak, air rifle shooting, and futsal, demonstrating unity and sportsmanship.

Following the intense week-long competitions, the Engineering and Technology Institute secured first place in the overall team standings. The Institute of Natural Sciences took second place, and the Institute of Pedagogy and Traditional Arts came in third. The winners were awarded special diplomas and cash prizes from the trade union committee.

The traditional Olympics, with its fifty-year history and the goal of fostering a healthy lifestyle, contributes to enhancing the vivacity of the university community and increasing interest in sports.
