Explanatory discussions were held for successful adaptation of international students

A meeting with international students was held at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, during which explanatory works were fulfilled.

Mainura Buribayeva, Vice-Rector for research and international relations, delivered a welcoming speech, outlining the goals of the meeting. She encouraged international students to adapt freely to the educational institution and openly discuss any issues arising during their studies and stay.

The main purpose of the meeting was to clarify the university's internal regulations and the requirements of the country's legislation, as well as to enhance the legal literacy of foreign citizens.

During the event, Saken Abdulghaziz, a prosecutor from the Kyzylorda city Prosecutor's office, conducted explanatory work on the requirements of criminal legislation concerning foreign citizens. Besides, Ganibek Otarbayev, candidate of legal sciences and senior lecturer, provided explanations on preventing the accidental or fraudulent involvement of foreign citizens in criminal offenses, including the transportation of narcotic drugs and other prohibited substances.

Representatives from the prosecutor's office and the police also participated in the meeting, answering students' questions. International students expressed their opinions on issues of concern to them and received specific clarifications from specialists.

Such events are aimed at improving the quality of education for international students, facilitating their adaptation process in Kazakhstan, and ensuring their legal safety.
