University head met with the staff of the Pedagogy and Traditional Art Institute

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Naurzbay Baikadamov, held a meeting with the staff of the Institute of Pedagogy and Traditional Art. The main goal of the meeting was to discuss the quality of education, scientific potential, and future development directions of the institute.

At the meeting, the director of the institute, Naku Mirmanov, presented a report on the current state of the educational institution, its achievements, and planned goals. Currently, the Institute of Pedagogy and Traditional Art implements 12 bachelor's degree programs, 5 master's degree programs, and 2 doctoral programs. A total of 1806 students are receiving education at various levels, with 1717 bachelor's students, 72 master's students, and 17 doctoral students continuing their studies in their relevant specialties.

Special attention at the institute is paid to the development of students’ academic mobility. Currently, 14 students are studying at other higher educational institutions in the country under the internal academic mobility program, and 5 students are undergoing internships at foreign partner universities under the external academic mobility program.

Besides, the institute's graduates demonstrate high activity in the labor market. The employment rate of graduates for the 2024–2025 academic year is 75%. This indicator testifies to the quality education received by the institute's graduates and demand in their specialties.

During the meeting, the rector emphasized the importance of training pedagogical staff and developing scientific directions in the field of traditional art. He also gave specific instructions on modernizing the educational process, introducing digital technologies, and increasing the creative and scientific activity of students.

Participants also discussed pressing issues such as strengthening the institute's material and technical base, adapting educational programs to the needs of the labor market, and improving students' social conditions.

At the end of the event, the university head touched upon important political changes in the country's life, elaborating on the significance of the constitutional reform and the republican referendum.
