An evening of harmonious embodiment of traditions and unity

The ethnic festival "Tradition – the pillar of the nation" was held with great success at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Students from various nationalities actively participated in the event, highlighting the spiritual unity of our people.

The main goal of the ethnic festival was to celebrate the national values of different ethnic groups, popularize customs and traditions, and strengthen friendship and mutual respect among young people. The evening was hosted by Saltanat Bizhigitkyzy, chairperson of the Youth affairs committee, who extended her sincere wishes to the participants and guests.

As part of the festival, national games were organized where attendees tested their strength in traditional competitions such as tug-of-war, kettlebell lifting, and asyk atu. Besides, an exhibition of national costumes and dishes of the Kazakh, Turkmen and Korean peoples was presented to the public.

In the concert program, students showcased various genres of national art. Kuis were played, beautiful songs were performed, and dances of the Kazakh, Korean, and Turkmen peoples were presented. Patriotic songs such as "Kazagym", "Kazak osy", "Akzhaynak", and "Men kazaktyn ulymyn" received a particularly strong response from the audience.

Important Kazakh customs were staged during the event – "Syrga salu" (earring ceremony), "Kyz uzatu" (bride's farewell), and "Tusaukeser" (child's first steps), which allowed young people to gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of national upbringing. These performances made a strong impression on the audience and reinforced reverence for ancestral heritage.

The ethnic festival became a vibrant manifestation of friendship and unity, cultural diversity, and an educational evening that demonstrated the harmony of various cultures.
