School Day at the museum

On October 25, on the occasion of the Republic Day, the event "School Day at the museum" was organized at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

 At the meeting, students were told about the significance of the national holiday, historical relics and the history of the university.

The head of the museum, Aidana Khabieva, noted that 57 expositions with documentary materials and a photo stand are presented in the museum of the university's photo gallery.

- The museum was opened in 1997 in honor of the 60th anniversary of the university.  A special part of the photo gallery is dedicated to those who led the educational institution and contributed to its development and formation.

Currently, the educational institution has an exhibition hall of the research center "Archeology and Ethnography", an educational and exhibition hall "Elbasy and Independent Kazakhstan", the museum "Glory of Sport", the Museum of Water Management named after Honored hydraulic Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madelkhan Nalibayev, the museum "Zoology", - said Aidana Maratovna.

The excursion was attended by students of grades 10-11 of N.Ilyasov gymnasium №. 9, Kazakh secondary school №.140 named after Abylaykhan, School-lyceum of information technologies  №.4 named after S. Seifullin.

At the end of the meeting, the students shared their impressions of the museum, shared their thoughts about our historical value, cultural heritage.
