Тhe symbol of independence of tenge is 30 years old

A solemn event "30 years of tenge - the symbol of independence" was held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

On November 15, 1993, the first national currency, the tenge, came into circulation, which became one of the main symbols of independence.

Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University Beibitkul Karimova noted that the national currency contributed to the creation of Kazakhstan's financial system and the stabilization of monetary circulation.

- The introduction of tenge into circulation allowed Kazakhstan to take the first steps to create a national market infrastructure. Our national currency is closely connected with the formation and development of independent Kazakhstan. The history of the state, important historical events, outstanding figures, anniversaries, achievements in the field of culture and sports are reflected on paper banknotes and coins," the rector noted.

The meeting was attended by the director of the branch of "First heartland Jusanbank" in Kyzylorda, DBA Roman Tsoi, director of the branch of JSC "Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan" in Kyzylorda Aydos Zhetpisbai, Head Head of the Kyzylorda Regional Service Center "Multidisciplinary Service Center" of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC Kaldybayev Yerkin,Chief Accountant of the public utility institution "Ana Tagzim" Center Alieva Gaukar, Director of the branch of HALYK Insurance Company JSC in the Kyzylorda region Serik Alembayev, Head of Retail Sales Department of ForteBank JSC branch in the city of Kyzylorda, Abdykayrov Bakhytbek, Head of the retail business center of the branch of JSC "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" in the Kyzylorda region, Almat Askarov, Aigerim Utaralieva, Head of the Department of Lending to Individuals of the branch of JSC "Bereke Bank" in the city of Kyzylorda, Deputy Director for Economic Affairs of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Kyzylorda region Dauren Seitzhanov, Deputy Head of the Department for Cash and Cash Transactions of the Kyzylorda branch of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Dulybayev, Chief Specialist of the Department of Economic Analysis and Statistics of the Kyzylorda branch of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aya Amangel, the leading specialist of the Department of Economic Analysis and Statistics of the Kyzylorda branch of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Shynar Gabit, teaching staff and students.

At the solemn event, the director of the First heartland Jusanbank branch in Kyzylorda, Roman Tsoi, and the director of the Bank of Freedom Finance Kazakhstan branch in Kyzylorda, Aidos Zhetpisbai, were awarded the Korkyt ata Gold Medal.

The meeting was organized by the Department of Finance, Accounting and Audit, the Alumni Association and the Korkyt ata Endowment Corporate Foundation.
