The duration of study is determined by the completion of 240 academic credits for the entire program and 60 academic credits per academic year. Accordingly, the standard duration of study is 4 years. Students may be permitted to earn more or less academic credits per academic year, resulting in a longer or shorter duration of study. For individuals with higher, technical and vocational, or post-secondary education, the duration of study is determined based on the student's prior learning, as assessed through their transcript (diploma supplement). Credits are transferred, and previously completed courses are considered, provided they are sufficient and align with the continuity of the educational program.
