REGIONAL SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL DISCUSSES HUMAN RESOURCES ISSUES FOR INVESTMENT PROJECTS

The Kyzylorda Regional Scientific Council met under the leadership of Deputy Governor Nuriddin Amankul. The session focused on developing the region's scientific and innovation potential, strengthening the link between science and industry, and ensuring human resource support for major investment projects.

Elena Shevchenko, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, joined the meeting online to discuss the outcomes of the recent Presidium meeting and the implementation of its decisions. Also, Moldir Tauipbayeva, Head of the Regional Entrepreneurship and Industry Department, presented a report on the priority areas for regional scientific grant funding.

Nauryzbay Baikadamov, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, reported on the training of personnel required for the region’s major investment projects during the meeting. He outlined the university's efforts to modernize educational programs in line with labor market demands, develop double-degree and joint programs through international partnerships, and expand dual education systems in industrial settings. He emphasized that the university has the capacity to train qualified specialists in fields such as engineering, construction, agribusiness, geology, digital technologies, and water resource management.

The meeting concluded with a discussion of participants' proposals and the definition of key areas for future collaboration.
