INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND ACADEMIC COOPERATION DISCUSSED

Dana Abdrasheva, Member of the Management Board – Vice-Rector for academic affairs at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, met with representatives of K.D. Ushinsky Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University.

The meeting was attended by Mikhail Korsakov, Director of the M.V. Dorogov Center for Pharmaceutical Technology Transfer, Doctor of Chemical Sciences and Professor; Anton Shetnev, Head of the Center, Candidate of Chemical Sciences and Associate Professor; Nurbol Appazov, Chief Researcher at the Engineering Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Methods of Analysis, Candidate of Chemical Sciences and Professor; and Sherkhan Bitimbay, Acting Head of the International Relations Department.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed establishing formal cooperation between the two universities in the areas of teacher education and research. They also explored opportunities for exchanging academic expertise, conducting joint research, and implementing collaborative research projects.

Dana Abdrasheva emphasized the importance of developing concrete proposals to identify priority areas for cooperation. Following the review of proposals from both sides, the parties plan to arrange a meeting between the heads of the two universities and develop the partnership on a formal basis.

The visit of the international researchers focused on discussing the final report of the research project entitled “Design, Synthesis and Chemical Transformation of Cyclic Amidine Systems and Their Conjugates with Natural Acids for Biomedical Applications”, implemented jointly with the Engineering Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Methods of Analysis.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in strengthening scientific and academic ties and implementing mutually beneficial initiatives.
