KORKYT ATA UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University held a solemn ceremony dedicated to September 1st — the Day of Knowledge, themed "The new people's constitution: developing human capital through the education system".

The festive gathering was attended by veteran educators, faculty members, university staff, and students.

Nauryzbay Baikadamov, the Chairman of the Board — Rector of Korkyt Ata University, delivered a speech during the ceremony, congratulating everyone on the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year. The Rector wished the students success in their studies and encouraged the staff to pursue new research and achieve significant milestones.

The event featured an awards ceremony honoring staff and faculty members who have made significant contributions to the university's development. Specifically, a number of specialists were recognized with certificates of honor and letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the regional Governor, as well as certificates and letters of appreciation from the Chairman of the Board — Rector of Korkyt Ata University.

Besides, the "Best Graduate" medal was awarded to alumni who contributed to the university's growth.

Furthermore, 22 top-performing students, who were awarded the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan scholarship for their outstanding achievements in academics and research, were also recognized.
