PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAINING HELD FOR STUDENTS ON THE “JOURNALISM” COURSE

The Psychological Support Centre at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University organized a psychological training session for first-year students on the “Kazakh Language, Literature and Journalism” program named “New environment, new friends, new me”.

The aim of the training was to support first-year students in their socio-psychological adaptation to their new environment, to strengthen positive relationships within the group, and to foster mutual trust and open communication.

During the event, participants got to know one another better and learnt ways to establish effective communication within the group. In addition, the students identified their strengths and shared their feelings and emotions relating to the process of adapting to their new environment.

The training helped to strengthen mutual understanding among the students, develop teamwork skills and ensured a smooth transition to university life.
