EDUCATION WITHOUT BORDERS: INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF THE KORKYT ATA UNIVRSITY

Representatives of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University are participating in events taking place in New York as part of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. On behalf of the university, the Chairman of the Board—Rector Nauryzbay Baikadamov and Board Member—Vice Rector for academic affairs Dana Abdrashova attended a high-level dialogue forum on scientific diplomacy and global cooperation, where they exchanged views with representatives of the international scientific community.

At the meeting, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaboration with ICESCO, participants discussed the development of science diplomacy, the strengthening of international academic partnerships, the enhancement of research capacity, and the promotion of innovative projects. Particular attention was paid to the role of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in modern educational processes, the Sustainable Development Goals, and new mechanisms for supporting young scientists.

Participation in this international event opens up broad prospects for the university to expand its professional ties with foreign universities and research centers. In particular, this lays the groundwork for strengthening cooperation in implementing joint research projects, promoting academic mobility, and creating new opportunities for students and young researchers.

It should be noted that the international forum will run through September 22nd. The university’s active integration into the global scientific and educational community will enable it to more effectively showcase the potential of regional science in the future.
