The staff of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University went on a clean-up day

The staff and students of the university took part in a mass clean-up. Cleaning was carried out on the territory of the Botanical Garden, academic buildings and dormitories. 

The clean-up was attended by the Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Karimova, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Mainur Buribayeva, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work Zhandos Bazartai, staff of the Rector's office, directors of Institutes, teaching staff and students.

During the clean-up, the participants took part in cleaning the garden and taking care of the green spaces. This measure is aimed at improving the environmental culture of teachers and students and strengthening responsibility for environmental protection.

Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna noted that responsible attitude to the purity of environment is the main task of every citizen, expressed gratitude to those who contributed to the clean–up day.

Special equipment was used to transport the collected garbage. At the end of each week, clean-up activities will continue, cleaning and tree planting will be organized.

It is worth noting that today the Botanical Garden is undergoing reconstruction and is scheduled to be put into operation in the near future.
