Kazakhstani Universities to Showcase Regional Academic Hub Opportunities at Bett Show for the First Time

Kazakhstan to Present National Pavilion

For the first time in its 40-year history, Kazakhstan will present its national pavilion at one of the world’s largest international education exhibitions – the Bett Show. The event will take place from January 22 to 24, 2025, in London, United Kingdom.

About Bett Show

Bett Show (British Education Training and Technology Show) is one of the most significant events in the education sector. It brings together educational institutions, EdTech companies, universities, schools, and education solution developers on one platform. Every year, approximately 30,000 attendees from 130 countries participate in the exhibition to exchange experiences and discuss innovations and global trends in education.

Kazakhstan’s Role as a Regional Academic Hub

The main theme of Kazakhstan’s national pavilion is its development as a regional academic hub. The country’s established education ecosystem is increasing global interest in its opportunities, with nearly 30,000 international students currently studying in Kazakhstan.

Leading Programs and Research

Kazakhstan has launched doctoral programs in collaboration with leading foreign universities, conducts scientific research, and implements artificial intelligence programs to develop digital skills with the support of major corporations.

“Study in Kazakhstan” Project
The “Study in Kazakhstan” project, presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, aims to strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as a regional academic hub. The establishment of campuses by British universities, such as Coventry University Kazakhstan, enhances education quality, internationalization, and cultural-scientific cooperation.

“For the first time, Kazakhstan is participating in one of the world’s largest education exhibitions – the Bett Show – with its national pavilion, demonstrating the country’s development as a regional academic hub. Currently, nearly 30,000 international students are studying in Kazakhstan, collaborating with leading international universities, and implementing new educational programs. These achievements prove that our education system is internationally recognized and open to the world,” said Sayasat Nurbek.
