Introductory meeting of the rector with first-year students: Presentation of the university's educational opportunities
On November 27th, current year, Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Beibitkul Karimova hold a meeting with first-year students of Economics and Law Institute. The meeting was aimed at strengthening academic interaction and facilitating the adaptation of first-year students to the educational environment. The event was held in two formats: an official presentation and an open informal «Question and Answer» session.



In the first part of the meeting, the Rector presented the university's key development directions to the first-year students, highlighting its educational, scientific, and infrastructural potential. Students were informed about the university's international ranking, the history of their alma mater, opportunities for academic mobility, research projects, the work of student and youth organizations, support for talented youth, and strategic initiatives being implemented as part of higher education modernization. Special attention was paid to creating a comfortable educational ecosystem focused on developing the competencies and personal growth of each student. In her opening remarks, Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna noted that the university's management places particular emphasis on the comprehensive development of students, including intellectual, health-related, and personal growth.
The second part of the event was conducted in the format of an open dialogue. In an informal atmosphere, students had the opportunity to ask the Rector questions concerning the academic process, campus life, accommodation conditions, participation in scientific and international programs, and the university's development prospects. The head of the university provided detailed answers to each question, emphasizing that feedback from students is a crucial component in improving educational policy.
In conclusion, Beibitkul Karimova stated that first-year students are an integral part of the university's academic community and expressed confidence that their active participation in university life will contribute to their professional and personal development.
The event served as an important platform for strengthening communication between the administration and students, demonstrating transparency, accessibility, and a willingness for collaborative work on the further development of the university.
Meanwhile, she also extended a separate invitation to those who were unable to ask their questions or who had interesting proposals to discuss during a personal appointment.
