Future educators underwent training aimed at enhancing their professional skills

Fourth-year students of pedagogical educational programs at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University participated in advanced training courses on «Pedagogical identity: competence and qualification». These courses were organized by the Center for professional development and further education jointly with the branch of «National Center for Professional Development «Orleu» (Ascension)» JSC – Institute for professional development for Kyzylorda region. The event took place from November 10th to December 5th.

During the course, students were introduced to innovative ideas in modern education, effective teaching methodologies, and the system of criterion-based assessment. Additionally, future educators received comprehensive information on developing professional competencies and practical skills.

Acting Rector Dana Abdasheva met with the course participants and emphasized the importance of the project. She noted that this course is special because the university's students were among its first participants, and preparatory work for the course began in the summer.

The advanced training course consisted of three stages:

Stage One: Students attended lectures and practical sessions in an offline format, totaling 72 academic hours.

Stage Two: The knowledge and skills acquired during the course were applied during state practice, which took place at secondary schools.

Stage Three: Students participated in a conference for accumulating and generalizing experience, where they shared their reflective practical work.

Participants were awarded relevant certificates Upon completion of the course.

This course served as a catalyst for the professional growth of future teachers, enabling them to adapt to current trends in the educational sphere.
