Teachers are studying the functionalities of ChatGPT EDU

Firstly, the Minister got acquainted with the university's new modern library, which was recently put into operation. Sayasat Nurbek then delivered a speech, elaborating on the directions for the development of science and higher education, infrastructure improvement, innovations in artificial intelligence and the set goals. Teachers from regional universities will undergo a special course on the effective use of the latest version of ChatGPT EDU 5.5 in the educational process. Throughout the year, it is planned to enhance the qualifications of 126,000 educators in artificial intelligence.

«To further implement the program, 27 «Anchor» universities from each region of the country were selected and approved. Educational institutions were chosen based on criteria such as the availability of the necessary infrastructure for program implementation, including educational programs in artificial intelligence, international partners, and computing power. These universities will be responsible for implementing the project in their region and neighboring areas, providing training for students and teaching staff under the AI-Sana program», the Minister said.

At the meeting, Sayasat Nurbek also announced that 229 AI agents have been implemented in 80 universities across the country. Another 363 AI agents are under development. These applications will facilitate the work of admissions committees, teachers, libraries and psychological centers.

The meeting extensively discussed issues of strengthening partnerships between universities, opening more international branches and forming modern research infrastructure. The need to introduce new mechanisms for the rapid adaptation of international students coming to the country for education to life in the region was particularly emphasized. The Minister expressed confidence that these steps would elevate the country's education system to an international level.

In the concluding part of the event, Sayasat Nurbek held a question-and-answer session with representatives of the faculty.
