The Rector discussed current development issues with the staff of Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute

The Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Nauryzbay Baikadamov, held a meeting with the staff of Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute.

During the meeting, the Director of the Institute, Sagat Taiman, presented a report on the overall potential of the educational institution, indicators in the personnel and educational spheres, as well as on upcoming tasks and current issues.

Currently, 2246 students are enrolled at the Humanitarian and Pedagogical Institute. From them, 2102 students are studying for a bachelor’s degree, 135 for master’s degrees and 9 for doctoral studies. Besides, 125 international students are studying at the institute. 

The average age of the institute's faculty members holding academic degrees and titles is 55 years. The total number of educational programs is 20: 11 of them are bachelor’s programs, 6 are master’s programs, and 3 are Doctoral programs.

As part of the academic mobility program, 32 students are studying at foreign higher education institutions. 25 international students have arrived at the Institute of Humanities and Pedagogy for their education.

During the meeting, the Rector listened to the faculty's suggestions and set a number of specific tasks for improving the quality of education, enhancing research activities, and expanding international cooperation. He also emphasized the importance of supporting new initiatives aimed at improving the educational process and the professional development of students. Nauryzbay Seítkaliuly also announced that the faculty's proposals for modernizing the archaeological laboratory, constructing a repository for historical artifacts, and increasing scientific potential would be supported.

At the end of the meeting, the Rector got acquainted with the material and technical base of the 1st academic building and the work of the library.
